Responsibilities: • Consults with customer and complies with all requests to ensure customer satisfaction. • Practices timeliness - starts shift on time, and finishes pets before/at promised time • Must have the ability to groom all breeds, style all fur types and is able to complete specific breed styles requested by client • Works in an organized and hygienic manner. Keeps work area free of hair and clutter and sanitizes tools and compartments between pets • Understands the purpose of products and uses them appropriately, follows label directions. • Treats equipment and tools with care and helps with simple maintenance.

Requirements:

Have a high school diploma or GED

Have 1 year or more of grooming experience with formal training certification and/or experience under an established certified groomer

Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds

Be able to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time

All candidates must pass the background and drug screening test and be 18 years or older.

Compensation is commission based. Groomers receive 50% of their gross receipts plus tips each pay period.
