    ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking our first VP of Finance and Operations that will align several key business teams together to bring to life our vision of generating 10 million additional years of pet life over the next ten years. Reporting to the CEO and a key member of the executive leadership team, you will drive all financial and operational aspects of our fast growing company.

    • Lead, manage, and grow Finance, HR, Accounting, and Operations (back office).
    • Manage all aspects of accounting, payroll, and company funding strategies.
    • Own annual strategic planning and translating into operational plans/budgets.
    • Build out business operations infrastructure to provide the backbone for company KPIs - forecasting, analysis, intelligence.
    • Establish business rigor and accountability while maintaining balance with creativity, experimentation, and speed.
    • Centralize data as a service center by building company wide reporting and dashboards.

    ABOUT YOU

    • A seasoned finance expert and operator, experienced in scaling SaaS (bonus if B2B2C) businesses, with a strong modeling ability.
    • Demonstrable experience retaining an audit firm and completing a company's first audit.
    • Resourceful, results driven and scrappy problem solver with a knack for building "just in time" tools that can flex and scale.
    • Proven experience managing a board, investors, lenders, and legal.
    • A leader with sound judgement who inspires confidence, creates transparency, and builds a culture of accountability.
    • A strong manager with a track record of recruiting and retaining top talent and building productive teams.
