    ABOUT THE ROLE

    The Sales Development Representative is an entry level position for individuals who want to begin their career in the sales world, and at PetDesk is also an opportunity to get your sales education in SaaS. This is the first step in learning sales, and developing yourself personally and professionally. You will make 80+ outbound cold calls to veterinary clinics each day, navigate decision-makers, qualify leads, and seamlessly transition qualified prospects to our Account Executives (Salespeople). You will be listening to your calls, pushing yourself to do better everyday, and working with the sales team to hit goals

    SUMMARY

    As our company grows, we need highly motivated people who understand what it will take to make a career in sales. You MUST be a hard worker with the ability to hold yourself accountable. We will be investing time and energy in your development to  teach you about our product as well as the foundational skills in sales; you must be excited to learn and maintain a positive, "can do" attitude. This role isn't for someone who wants to “try” sales or is just looking for a great company (which we are!)—it is for the serious individual who is pursuing the most challenging yet rewarding career in sales.

    ABOUT YOU

    • Committed to a career in sales--you've experienced or researched what it takes to make it.
    • Proven and demonstrable track record of success--in school, in work, in life!
    • Highly coachable and flexible--things change on the fly in a startup.
    • You know your way around technology--big plus if you have used HubSpot or another CRM in the past.

    COMPENSATION & MORE

    On target earnings (base + incentive) for this role is $45,000 This is a full-time role with benefits.
