ABOUT THE ROLE With our round of Series B funding in the bank, PetDesk is in full “growth mode,” and for a revolutionary SaaS company, it all starts with the success of our Engineering team. As we look to double or triple the size of our high-performing team, we're looking for a mid-level Fullstack .NET Engineer who can help deliver and deploy new products and features within the pet industry, as well as improve our presence within the veterinary industry. We are excited to grow our team with this key position that will execute on highly-visible projects and drive the end-to-end development to connect pet care providers and pet parents so we can extend the lives of our best friends with four paws.

• Build new features into PetDesk's Customer Dashboard web applications (which is built on ASP.NET MVC, C#, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript).
• Execute on new products and product features through the entire software development lifecycle.
• Advise on product planning and web architecture decisions.
• Create, build out, and deploy intuitive and engaging modern web applications through creative technical solutions in the latest technologies.
• Make a difference in a product that our customers rely on for the life of their business, and that our app users rely on for the life of their pets.

ABOUT YOU

• Confident understanding and experience in fullstack development in the Microsoft stack, including front-end programming in HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript, as well as a strong history in middle- and back-end engineering with ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, C#, SQL, and LINQ.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure is highly preferred.
• Demonstrable experience developing and deploying web applications, ideally in a SaaS environment, as a key contributor throughout the entire development process from conception to launch.
• Embraces new challenges with a natural curiosity and humility to learn new technologies and development techniques, while advocating for technical changes/upgrades with demonstrable benefits and impact throughout the tech stack.
• Comfortable with the benefits and complexities of working in a startup—change on the fly doesn't frustrate you, it excites you to deliver!
• Appreciates participating on a collaborative and tight-knit team in the SCRUM process as an enthusiastic owner and driver of optimal efficiency.
