    SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

     

    PETDINE, a company of ADM (NYSE: ADM), is a contract manufacturer that helps entrepreneurs capitalize on opportunities through the development of custom pet supplements and treats. Our pet products span soft chews, liquid food toppers, powders, dental and long goods, baked treats, semi-moist treats, and kibble. ADM acquired a 75% stake in PetDine in September 2021. PetDine is part of ADM’s Global Pet Solutions business sub-segment within ADM’s Nutrition Business Unit.

    Location: Fort Collins, Colorado

     

    This position is an outstanding opportunity to enter and build a career in the pet industry. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will oversee and validate all inbound leads. You will connect with each lead to determine what they are seeking including product type, time to market, and other important details. You will leverage these insights to identify the core problem and educate prospects on the products and solutions PetDine provides. As the first line of communication with prospects, you will need a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our account executives up for success. Initially, the focus will be on inbound leads as the company receives a large number of leads, but outbound reach will be added to the role in the near future. 

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    ●        A self-starter who doesn’t need continuous guidance but instead uses their ability to manage their time focused on company initiatives. 

    ●        Support account executives on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts.

    ●        Create and lead meetings with prospects focused on understanding their needs.

    ●        Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward.

    ●        Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings.

    ●        Collaborate with sales teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to each weekly meeting.

     

    QUALIFICATION

    ●        Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, are required.

    ●        Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member.

    ●        Have a strong work ethic and excitement to learn about the company and industry.

    ●        Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate with both the prospect and sales team.

    ●        Thorough understanding of commercial awareness to successfully establish rapport with prospects.

    ●        At least 1 year of sales experience

    ●        Proficiency with SalesForce or other CRM software

     

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Job Setting: Office

    Pay: $50,000 - $60,000 Annually
