PetHonesty is a fast-growth, leading e-commerce company focused on pet health/nutrition; were passionate about serving our customers and their fur babies. Our goal is to help 10 million dogs by 2024!
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Shopify Web Developer will work closely with marketing, operations, and customer support; responsible for supporting the execution of each departments vision through building and maintaining the e-commerce solution on Shopify.
The PetHonesty offices are in Austin, TX. If located in Austin, there would be an option to report to an office.
How you'll contribute to PetHonestys success:
- Conceptualize and execute new opportunities for company growth
- Ensure that customer and sales data flows to and from social media platforms to optimize customer engagement
- Build new sales/marketing channel integrations as the company evolves and new opportunities arise
- Analyze and report on key KPIs related to the health of the IT infrastructure using Shopify reports, Google Analytics, and other monitoring/reporting tools
- Assist in efforts to discover the next big user acquisition strategy
- Build and maintain affiliate and influencer marketing channel integrations
- Keep updated on industry and competitive technology trends and regularly informing the team of noteworthy news items and opportunities
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years experience in Shopify Plus development
- 3+ years experience in Javascript/HTML/CSS
- Experience with API integrations with third-party tools, especially Shopifys API library
- Experience integrating marketing automation tools (A/B testing, upsell, subscription, loyalty programs, affiliates, email, SMS, etc.)
- Experience building and maintaining custom themes on the Shopify platform, especially Shopify Plus and custom checkouts
- Ability to turn a design mock-up into a mobile-friendly responsive web page
- Dedication to a test-driven development mentality with experience using at least one common ecommerce testing tool
- Fundamental understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization
- A scrappy self-starter willing to roll up your sleeves and drive projects to completion
- Have a strong work ethic, love of testing, and commitment to continuous improvement
- Effective communicator with internal teams or external vendors
- Highly analytical. Have the ability analyze and translate data into actionable plans
- Knowledge of Klaviyo is a plus
- Passion for pets
