Created to bring convenience, simplicity and customization to your experience, Whym takes what you enjoy most about online and offline shopping and combines them. Engage in a text conversation with a Whym team member in real-time to ask questions, get suggestions, and add products from our boutique lookbook to your cart with a hashtag.

Founded by a dynamic female duo, Whym makes getting the things consumers love, easy. We've curated a list of unique products by sorting through hundreds of “instabrands” - niche companies that have less than 30K followers - that offer high quality and easily replenish-able goods. Each brand value proposition is focused on things that matter most to the modern woman.

WHO ARE YOU:

The best fit for this internship is a college Junior, Senior or MBA student majoring in some combination of the following:

Industrial and Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration

Must be Los Angeles-based and eligible to receive college credit—no exceptions.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON:

• Developing and executing new strategies to build our brand
• Support Head of Supply Chain and Operations with integral daily business execution
• Assist with product / inventory planning, sourcing, availability, and problem solving
• Build and maintain excel sheets to track details and performance for multiple brand activities
• Learn and support backend sales, operation and customer support systems 
• Research new product categories and partnerships
• Analyze data and provide detailed reports
• Deliver Daily/weekly/monthly reporting 
• Support team with and perform a variety of administrative tasks
• Assist with other projects as needed
• Assist in production and shipping

INTERN PROJECTS

As part of your internship you will have the chance to come up with a project with the Whym team that both interests you and will be impactful to the Whym brand.  Throughout your internship you will research, develop and execute against the idea.  At the conclusion of the semester you will present your findings to the team. COMMITMENT:

• These are unpaid semester internships that require a 15-20 hr/week commitment.
