What will you do in this position? * Managing our location in Joliet (Olson & Troost Memorials), you will sell our products and services skillfully and successfully to families while also assisting funeral directors with their sales orders. * Provide customer service; meet/greet customers; answer questions; perform general office support tasks. * Accurately process orders, including specifying all necessary details of materials, style, measurement, finish, and design in our customized ERP system. * Follow-up with customers to answer questions; take customer payments; checking the status of orders; and finalize orders. * Make follow-up phone calls; send letters to prospective customers. * Assist with processing orders in the computer system including specifying all necessary details of the materials, style, measurements, finish, and design. * Work with area funeral directors and cemetery sextons on various customer orders. What are we looking for? * Previous retail or commission sales required. * Excellent customer service skills. * Attention to detail. * Precise in completing work tasks. * Ability to work independently. * Strong computer skills (SAP/ERP experience helpful). * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. * Previous experience with drawing/sketching helpful, but not required. What do we offer? * Competitive salary (starting at $23.00 an hour) plus commission and bonus with no cap on commission!
