Engineer Intern (Hobbs, NM):Prepare designs, sketches, cost estimates, engineering reports, budgets, schedules, bids, and construction services; Perform earthwork and rebar inspections; Use AutoCAD to generate detailed 2D and 3D isometric dimensional drawings and design layouts for engineering projects; Review shop drawings and create engineering designs of steel, wood, and concrete structures; Design waterlines, storm drainage systems, and recycling ponds for various projects; Prepare, review, and edit documents and designs in accordance with QA/QC policies and procedures to satisfy industry standards. Requires a bachelor’s degree (or the foreign equivalent) in Civil Engineering with 1 year Work experience. Remote work available at company’s discretion after completing 3 years of work at NM office.
