GENERAL DESCRIPTION

 Candidates must have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and must be able to work with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.  Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, as well as solid knowledge of Outlook and Word is required. 2-4 years of relevant experience with payroll and HR is required. Previous work with SAGE a plus, bilingual preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

-      Two or more years’ experience processing payroll and HR

-      Experience with Federal, State and Local payroll reporting

-      Experience with managing employee benefits (health, dental, 401K)

-      Experience with writing policies and procedures (Employee handbook)

-      Experience with writing job descriptions and advertising positions

-      Experience with hiring and terminating employees

-      Experience with computerized payroll programs

-      Experience with Office 365

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

-      Processing payroll

-      Federal, State and Local payroll reporting

-      Managing employee benefits (health, dental, 401K)

-      Writing policies and procedures (Employee handbook)

-      Hiring and terminating employees

-      Onboarding new hires.

-      Working with advertising and recruiting agencies (including Internet)

-      Enforcing company procedures and policies

-      Strategic Planning

-      Building and maintaining company culture

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

-      High school diploma or GED

-      2 years college education
