Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced licensed Pharmacist Consultant with an active licenses in both Missouri and Kansas to join our team! As a Pharmacist consultant, you will be receiving incoming prescriptions, reviewing them for accuracy. medication room reviews, consult with other Pharmacists and staff. You will be working onsite at different LTC (Long term care and nursing facilities. Maintaining a safe, clean work environment. The ideal Pharmacist Consultant candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is familiar with pharmaceutical best practices. This position will be working in the Kansas City MO and Kansas City KS. This position is for 40 hours a month.

Responsibilities

Read and review incoming prescriptions for accuracy, suitability to patient, and potential interactions

Maintain excellent patient records and pharmacy files

Conduct regular inventory and maintain proper standards for accepting new inventory and categorizing it appropriately

Maintain a clean, safe work environment

Med room reviews, consulting with Pharmacy staff, consulting with LTC staff. Drug distribution.

Working on site at Long term care facilities.

Qualifications

Must hold a current Missouri and Kansas state pharmacist license

Must be able to work with LTC and different Pharmacists and Pharmacy staff

Excellent attention to detail.

The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed

Must have responsible transportation to visit different facilities during the 40 hours a MONTH
