    About us

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacist in Charge to join our dynamic and patient-centered pharmacy team. Must have at least 3 years of community/retail pharmacy experience and be trained to operate a fast paced and efficient pharmacy work environment.

    As a Pharmacist in Charge, you will play a crucial role in providing safe and effective pharmaceutical care to patients. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, managing pharmacy staff, developing policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records, providing patient counseling, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

    To succeed in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations, excellent communication skills, attention to detail in medication dispensing, the ability to multitask and prioritize workload, proficiency in using pharmacy software systems, and strong problem-solving abilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards
    • Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including training and evaluating performance
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize workflow and efficiency
    • Maintain accurate records of medications, inventory, and patient profiles
    • Provide pharmaceutical care and counseling to patients
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use
    • Stay updated on new drugs, therapies, and industry trends

    Requirements:

    Education: Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy. Has complied with all continuing education requirements of the State of California.

    Experience: Three or more years of community/retail pharmacy experience required.

    License/Certifications: Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of California. Meets all legal requirements for the practice of pharmacy in California. Pharmacist license is in good standing.

    Background Check: A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment. Pharmacy will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information.
