Pharmacy Business Development & Sales Representative (Retail & Online Pharmacy Growth)
BaRupOn is seeking a high-performing Pharmacy Business Development & Sales Representative who can help scale our retail pharmacy operations and online pharmacy distribution channels.
This role requires someone who understands how to grow pharmacy revenue, optimize product placement, build profitable pharmacy operations, and expand online pharmacy sales.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in the pharmacy industry, retail pharmacy operations, and pharmaceutical product sales , and understands how to turn pharmacy operations into a high-performing revenue center.
This individual will play a key role in helping BaRupOn increase pharmacy sales, improve drug inventory strategy, expand digital pharmacy distribution, and maximize profitability.
Develop and execute strategies to increase retail pharmacy sales and prescription volume
Identify high-demand medications and profitable drug categories
Optimize product placement and inventory strategy to maximize pharmacy revenue
Build relationships with pharmacists, suppliers, and pharmaceutical distributors
Identify opportunities to expand pharmacy services and retail offerings
Assist in the setup and scaling of BaRupOn's online pharmacy platform
Develop strategies to grow e-commerce pharmacy sales
Identify top-selling medications and OTC products for online distribution
Ensure online pharmacy operations follow pharmacy regulations and compliance standards
Implement digital marketing and sales strategies for online pharmacy growth
Build relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors
Negotiate supply agreements to ensure competitive drug pricing and strong margins
Identify new pharmaceutical product opportunities that increase pharmacy profitability
Analyze pharmacy market trends and identify growth opportunities
Support expansion into new pharmacy markets or underserved areas
Develop strategies that improve customer acquisition and repeat prescription sales
3–7+ years experience in the pharmacy industry , retail pharmacy sales, or pharmacy operations
Strong understanding of retail pharmacy business models and revenue drivers
Experience working with pharmacy inventory management and drug assortment strategies
Proven experience growing sales within a retail pharmacy environment
Understanding of which medications and OTC products drive pharmacy revenue
Ability to identify high-margin pharmaceutical products
Experience with online retail pharmacy or pharmacy e-commerce platforms
Knowledge of digital pharmacy sales strategies and online medication distribution
Experience helping launch or scale online pharmacy operations
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, suppliers, and distributors
Understanding of drug pricing structures and pharmacy margins
Familiarity with generic vs branded medication strategies
Proven ability to build relationships and drive sales growth
Strong negotiation and partnership development skills
Ability to identify revenue opportunities within pharmacy operations
Candidates with the following experience will be strongly preferred:
Background in pharmacy business development or pharmacy management
Experience working with pharmaceutical distributors (McKesson, Cardinal Health, AmerisourceBergen, etc.)
Knowledge of pharmacy automation and digital pharmacy platforms
Experience growing both prescription and OTC retail pharmacy sales
