A large managed care company is looking to fill a 3 month long Pharmacy Technician contract in Birmingham AL, 35242.

Pay Rate: $20/hr (Paid weekly)

Job Details:

Fulfill the shipping of specialty medication across the country.
Will be working with up to 10 pharmacy team members in a fulfillment setting to ship medications to patients.


• Use multiple computer systems to obtain pharmacy orders, compare to order received and produce mailing labels
• Utilize the best method for product packing and shipping based on standard procedures to include type of packaging, unique conditions (i.e. refrigeration), etc. to ensure safe and secure delivery
• Prepare manual prescription orders by verifying information, pulling appropriate prescription drugs from inventory and complete necessary scanning and packaging as necessary
• Maintain various machines and equipment (e.g. IPD machines, auto packing machines)

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED (or higher) or equivalent work experience
Active AL pharmacy tech license

Preferred Qualifications:
It is recommended to have previous pharmacy/shipping experience
