Job Description

Pharmacy Investigators and Consultants, a leading firm dedicated to anti-fraud deterrence programs in health care, is seeking an entry level investigator to perform desk audits of pharmacy claims using our proprietary, highly sophisticated data analytics tools, COPs and CARs. The candidate should have excellent investigative skills, an inquiring mind and a passion to curb health care fraud. Three to five years’ experience in a related health care position is desirable. PRIOR PHARMACY TECHNICIAN EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. A Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Health Care Administration, Business or a related field is required. The candidate will work closely with existing clinical staff and combine the candidate’s investigation skills and knowledge of the health care system to audit and recover pharmacy payments for our clients. THIS POSITION NEEDS TO BE FILLED IMMEDIATELY.

Salary is open based on experience but will range from $45,000 to $60,000. The position is open immediately. Excellent benefits and the candidate will enjoy a team environment with highly motivated and skilled team members, most of whom have advanced degrees. While some travel to the Northwest Chicago suburbs would occasionally be required for group training sessions, THIS POSITION WILL NOT REQUIRE DAILY COMMUTING AND IS A "WORK FROM HOME" LOCATION. This is a PERC position and may qualify for experience leading to the apprenticeship requirements for a Licensed Private Detective.
