Solvet Services, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, is seeking experienced and adaptable Pharmacy Technicians to support a federal correctional healthcare program in Anthony, TX (near El Paso).

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays

• 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including a 30-minute non-paid lunch

• Up to 40 hours per week

• Schedule may vary based on institutional needs; flexibility required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Pharmacy Technician services in accordance with standards and practices accepted by the profession, and in compliance with all federal and state regulations

• Support the pharmacist in ordering, stocking, and dispensing medications while following Bureau of Prisons (BOP) Formulary guidelines

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all pharmacy areas and ensure up-to-date medications across the main pharmacy and satellite locations

• Prepare unit-dose or pre-packaged medications and assist in filing Medication Administration Records (MARs)

• Track inventory for narcotics, syringes, and medical supplies; restock “night stock” cabinets and perform audits as needed

• Accurately input data into the electronic medical records system and track patient care scheduling

• Perform clerical duties such as scanning, filing, patient call-outs, and maintaining stock records

• Participate in quality improvement and compliance activities as directed

• Be available for emergency coverage and willing to adapt to a changing schedule within the correctional setting

Required Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (NPTC)

• At least three (3) years of Pharmacy Technician experience

• Current CPR certification

• Strong computer and data entry skills

• Ability to work professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds in a secure environment

• Must pass a federal background check and have a favorable credit history

• Prior experience in a correctional facility is preferred but not required

Pay: $22.00-$24.00
