Job Description

• Data Entry: Accurately enter patient information, prescription details, and other relevant data into the pharmacy management system.
• Intake Coordination : Manage the intake process for new patients, including collecting necessary documentation and verifying insurance information.
• Communication : Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and the pharmacy team to ensure timely and accurate processing of prescriptions.
• Record Keeping : Maintain and update patient records, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
• Compliance : Ensure all data entry and intake processes comply with HIPAA regulations and other relevant laws and guidelines.
• Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and resolving any issues related to prescription processing.
• Collaboration : Work closely with pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy technician license.
• Experience : Previous experience in a pharmacy setting or data entry role preferred.
• Skills : * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Proficient in using pharmacy management software and other relevant computer applications. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge : Understanding of medical terminology and pharmacy operations

Schedule :

• Full-time, 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday

• Day Shift (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
