Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation.

Enter prescription data accurately into pharmacy software systems

Troubleshoot insurance rejections and handle prior authorizations.

Manage medication inventory, ensuring proper stock levels.

Experience

Previous pharmacy technician experience in a retail pharmacy is required.

Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, drug regulation, and medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice.

Experience with PrimeRx/Micromerchant is preferred but not required.

Certification and ability to administer vaccinations is not required but highly preferred.

Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations.
