Pharmacy Technician

Location: Tucson, AZ
Schedule: Full-time, multiple shifts available
Reports To: Lead Pharmacy Technician

Position Summary

Supports pharmacists by preparing, packaging, and labeling medications, maintaining inventory, and operating pharmacy automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications as prescribed.
• Operate pharmacy automation systems (Autofill, Baker Cells, A-frames, etc.).
• Maintain inventory and check expiration dates.
• Follow SOPs and safety precautions for hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Pharmacy Technicians: PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
• Non-certified technicians: 6 months experience or completion of training program.
• Basic math, computer skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

Automated pharmacy setting with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods. PPE provided for safety compliance.
