JOB SUMMARY

Inspects all incoming raw materials; taking representative samples as necessary, assist with review of packaging components; cross train to allow sufficient understanding of the liquid and powder lines as a backup when needed. Maintain proper records in accordance with all GMP, SOP and company policies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions following specifications under GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
• Ensure samples are inspected, sampled, processed, documented, and transferred to the QC Lab for testing.
• Ensure controlled and efficient storage of retain samples to allow for easy retrieval.
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Communicate professionally to numerous departments through electronic, phone and in person conversations.
• Perform liquid and powder line quality verifications when required (performing line checks, AQL checks, filling out documentation and performing quality testing to release line for operations.
• Perform other related projects or duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Quality control experience, 1 year (preferred)
• Direct experience in quality and plant operations (production, packaging) support
• Bilingual preferred but not required

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position will require the employee to stand for extended periods of time while performing duties in a clean room environment. Part of the responsibilities will be performed in an office setting.
