    **JOB SUMMARY
    **

    The Stick Pack Operator is responsible for running the stick pack machine and overseeing stick pack production per company standards while maintaining a safe working environment.

    Pay Range: $16-$21 per hour, DOE

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Operate and monitor stick pack machine to ensure proper production of product.
    • Monitor and maintain product levels and notify supervisor of discrepancies.
    • Follow cGMP guidelines and processes as established in department SOPs.
    • Inspect and monitor product quality including lot codes and weights.
    • Clean production area and machine when required.
    • Perform basic mathematical functions and complete required paperwork.
    • Perform other duties as deemed necessary.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • High school Diploma or GED preferred.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience operating a stick pack machine in a manufacturing production line facility.

    SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Perform simple mathematics.
    • Perform basic mechanical skills.
    • Communicate, read, and write legibly in English.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform job functions efficiently and independently.
    • Exhibit basic computer skills.

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Lift up to 50 lbs. and work above shoulders.
    • Must be able to wear any required PPE such as hair net, beard net, shoe covers, lab coat, and facemask.
    • Other physical requirements include frequent squatting, bending, twisting, and bi-lateral wrist movement.
    • Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require.
    • Ability to work around a variety of different smells and aromas.
    • Ability to work in a packaging area with a moderate powder substance in the air with or without a respirator.
