    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Operates Encapsulation machine from loading powder into the hopper to final bulk capsule storage. Keeps records of powder amounts added to hopper and final capsule counts on all batch records. Performs quality checks on a daily basis and insures that all products maintain the highest quality standards according to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s). Must comply with all GMP’s which include wearing appropriate safety protection which include: hairnets, beard nets, gloves, hearing protection, smocks, dust masks, etc.

    Pay: $16 - $21, DOE

    Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 4:15pm - 2:30am, some Fridays

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Runs encapsulation machine and ensures quality of product from start to finish.
    • Cleans encapsulation machine, room, and all auxiliary machinery during full, partial, and back to back cleanups.
    • Adherence to all cGMP’s.
    • Be able to weigh in Kilograms and read scales, use a calculator and perform simple calculations for reconciliation of powders.
    • Carry out administrative tasks including ensuring paperwork is complete and correct.
    • Be able to clean floors, walls, tables, and keep manufacturing area tidy and clean at all times.
    • Perform simple MRP transactions.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • High school Diploma or GED
    • One-Year experience

    SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Perform simple mathematics
    • Communicate, read and write legibly in English
    • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Standing for full shift required
    • Bending, moving, and standing for long periods at a time
