    Job Description

    INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE – SUNRISE, FL – PHARMSOURCE WHOLESALE LLC

     

    Join one of the fastest growing pharmaceutical companies!

    With direct supervision and support, responsible placing proactive outbound calls to established customers and potential prospects. Initiates outbound and receives inbound telephone calls for the purpose of selling generic pharmaceuticals to independent retail pharmacies.

    Shift is 9:00 AM EST- 6:00 PM EST Monday - Friday.

     

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales and marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a two year associate's degree program technical vocational training or equivalent combination of experience and education
    • Normally requires a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building skills to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with both customers and other Pharmsource Wholesale associates.
    • Strong oral communication skills to present information and solutions in a professional manner.
    • Good analytical skills, sufficient to prepare quotes, analyze data and to identify and resolve customer problems
    • Good mathematical skills and basic to intermediate computer skills to proficiently use a windows based system and to accurately input data and run reports

     

    Position Description:

    § Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.

    § Achieves/exceeds established daily and monthly productivity goals for phone time, call count and revenue, with an emphasis on growing and retaining their existing customer base.

    § Places outbound telephone calls to and from independent Pharmacies, in effort to promote and sell generic pharmaceuticals,

    § Establish buying cycles, fill customer needs and create strong customer relationship.

    § Updates existing accounts, opens new accounts and manage aspects of the customer needs through, but not limited to credit limits, customer issues and updating customer information that all lead to better customer experiences.

    § Manages existing account database, and ensures licenses are current and up to date.

    § Prepares sales information for customers.

    § Prospects for new business.

    § May handle forwarded customer calls to ensure divisional sales goals are met.

     

     

    Knowledge of:

    § Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements.

    § Business English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.

    § Business and personal computer hardware and software applications.

    § Pharmaceutical industry, pharmacy and other retail distribution channels.

    § Sales products, such as OTC, vitamin, supplement, injectible products.

    § Intermediate Windows based computer skills.

    Skill in:

    § Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

    § Ability to read, write and understand documentation in English.

    § Establish and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.

    § Leveraging selling skills, product, and technical knowledge to drive results with customers.

    § Detail oriented and organized.
