OUR DIRECT CLIENT IS SEEKING A DESKTOP SUPPORT ENGINEER. YOU WILL NEED TO WORK 3 DAYS ONSITE IN MIDTOWN NYC, 2 DAYS REMOTE.

MUST HAVES

• 7+ years experience in desktop engineering
• Packaging using SCCM or PDQ
• Engineering skills in Windows 10 OS (Not installing it. Hacking the registry to fix the applications.), OS Imaging, performance tuning and build numbers
• VMware Horizon
• Working knowledge of VDI technologies (VMware, Citrix, Microsoft)
• PowerShell scripting PLUSSES
• Desktop Security, CIS Standards
• MCSE Certification
• MDM platforms DAY-TO-DAY This Desktop Engineer will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and planning of the company's desktop OS environment, including image creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. They will be responsible for application packaging to support the end user computer environment. Maintain strategy for VDI OS, Physical OS, and Client Thin Clients OS. Manage VMware App Volumes for application packages deployed on VDI. Work with our virtualization team for VMware Horizon View and vCenter. They will provide packages for SCCM.
