    Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking a Community Liaison Manager with established relationships, in the Greater Philadelphia Area, including relevant professionals in healthcare and senior-care facilities, case managers, discharge planners, social workers and others.

    Preferred backgrounds and academic training include nurses (LPN or RN), social workers, public relations, and professionals with significant previous experience in marketing and customer engagement in the healthcare industry.

    The ultimate goal of this position is to help generate and expand the company’s client base, develop and sustain respectful and productive relationships with referral sources, and to drive sales.

    The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, self-motivated individual who MUST:

    • Have a demonstrable professional network across relevant organizations in Philadelphia, Montgomery and/or Bucks Counties, where significant portions of the referral-source-generation efforts will take place.

    • Have significant experience in engagement with customers, referral sources, and healthcare facilities and professionals.

    • Demonstrate ability to elaborate and execute strategies and action plans, as well as to carefully document interactions with external parties or customers.

    • Have excellent communication skills to effectively engage with customers, clients and co-workers.

    • Possess a degree in social work, nursing, public relations or business management. Other academic backgrounds may be considered depending on the candidate’s experience.

    • Have flexibility to carry out work duties, particularly external engagements, that may often take place at variable times of the day.

    • Understand and have experience in senior care or home-care services.

    Experience in sales or marketing functions in the healthcare field is highly desirable.

    This position will start as a part-time function with additional compensation based on an aggressive formula of participation in the results generated by the successful candidate. Our goal is to turn this position into a full-time job after a probation period of three to four months. For exceptional candidates with a solid record in similar past or current positions, we may consider shorter probation periods or a full-time position from the outset.

    We expect a passionate individual who not only represents our values and standards effectively, but also actively listens to potential customers and referral partners in order to address their needs and adapt our service plans accordingly.

    Routine duties will include, but not necessarily be limited, to:

    • Identifying and engaging with referral sources, as well as with relevant decision makers within healthcare facilities and other organizations;

    • Contributing to the elaboration of marketing and sales plans;

    • Advocating for the agency’s services before relevant entities, communities, individuals, healthcare facilities and professional groups;

    • Interacting directly with potential and existing clients;

    • Spending a significant time in external interactions with potential or existing referral sources, as well as with clients;

    • Giving presentations to relevant audiences;

    • Reporting meticulously on the execution of marketing and sales plans.

    Successful execution of the tasks above will require that a significant portion of the employee’s time be spent in external meetings and events.

    Assisting Hands’ central office is located in downtown Philadelphia. We will open additional offices in Lower Montgomery and Bucks County shortly.
