    Collections Manager/Collections Specialist Phillips Law Group/Dayes Law Firm a leader in Tax Law, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Collections Manager and specialist to work in our collections department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing collections and improving financial recovery rates. You will be responsible for leading a team of collections specialists to ensure that all collections activities are conducted professionally, ethically, and in accordance with company policies and regulations. Company Offers: • Competitive salary will be commensurate with experience and education • Employer-paid Health Savings Account • Medical Insurance • Vision • Dental • Employer-paid Life Insurance • Voluntary Life Insurance • 401(k) with Employer Match Responsibilities: • Develop and implement effective collections strategies to maximize debt recovery and improve cash flow. • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the collections department, including staff performance, workload distribution, and compliance with laws and regulations. • Negotiate payment plans with delinquent accounts while maintaining a positive and professional relationship with customers. • Generate and review reports on aged receivables and collections efforts, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. • Train and mentor collections staff on best practices, negotiation techniques, and legal requirements. • Collaborate with the legal department to prepare and pursue legal actions against non-compliant accounts when necessary. Qualifications: • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in collections or a similar financial role, with at least 2 years in a managerial collections capacity. • Strong understanding of collections regulations and laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve targets and improve performance. • Proficiency in collections software and Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce a plus. Compensation: $45,000 DOE
