Solvet is hiring a Phlebotomist to support the Health Services Department at United States Penitentiary (USP) McCreary.

Schedule

• 32 hours/week

• Monday–Thursday (excluding federal holidays)

• 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (30-minute unpaid lunch)

• Schedule may adjust based on institutional needs

Requirements

• Valid certification in KY or TN as a Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Lab Assistant, or EMT

• CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross)

• Experience with specimen collection, packaging, and shipment

• Ability to maintain accurate lab records

• Three (3) professional references required

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and lab specimen collection

• Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and clinic flow

• Enter and scan results into BEMR

• Prepare and transport specimens per BOP procedures

• Support vaccine programs, PPDs, and lab coordination
