Position Overview
We are hiring a Phlebotomist & Specimen Collection Technician to support our growing operations across both lab locations.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role requiring precision, professionalism, and strong patient interaction skills.
This is not a short-term role.

Key Responsibilities
Phlebotomy & Clinical Duties
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws using proper technique
- Process and prepare specimens for testing or transport
- Conduct wellness screenings (blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol)
- Maintain accurate documentation in systems (LIS/Test Vault)
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality
Drug & Alcohol Testing
- Collect urine, oral fluid, and hair samples
- Perform DOT and non-DOT collections
- Conduct breath alcohol testing (BAT)
- Complete chain-of-custody documentation with full accuracy
- Support employer testing programs (pre-employment, random, post-accident)
Operations & Front Desk Support
- Manage check-ins, scheduling, and phone inquiries
- Support inventory, compliance records, and basic billing
- Maintain a clean, professional lab environment
- Assist with onboarding and training as needed
What This Job Requires (Read Carefully)
- Standing for extended periods
- Handling multiple patients during busy hours
- Working across both Portland and Beaverton locations
- Strict adherence to procedures (no shortcuts)
- Professional communication with all clients
This is a high-responsibility role that requires attention to detail and consistency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Phlebotomy certification (CPT, RPT, or equivalent) preferred
- 1–2 years of clinical, lab, or specimen collection experience
- Ability to pass drug test and background check
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and lab systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred (Not Required but Strong Advantage)
- DOT Urine Specimen Collector Certification
- Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) Certification
Compensation & Benefits
- Up to $21/hour (based on experience)
- $2,000 Retention Bonus :
- $500 at 90 days
- $500 at 6 months
- $1,000 at 12 months

Schedule
- Full-time (Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts)
