To continue providing superior and dependable pet care services to our clients, we are in need of an ACCOUNTANT/BOOKKEEPER to join the team and assist in meeting the needs of our clients and partners at our Livonia, MI, location.

As the ACCOUNTANT/BOOKKEEPER with FETCH! PET CARE, you’ll be our business representative with whom our clients have the most one-on-one interaction. You will oversee the daily, routine tasks involved with addressing the customer's needs and concerns and maintaining their account activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording vendor invoices
• Prepare customer invoices and post payments
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients and collecting past due payments
• Heavy emphasis on Accounts Receivable Collection
• Review and audit of order processing
• Assisting other accounting team members as required

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
• Computer and tech-savvy
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting or sales manager role
• Attention to detail and highly organized
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Great phone personality and ability to adapt quickly
• Time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Courteous, polite, professional, and friendly attitude
