    SUMMARY

    Phoenix Logistics, Inc. is currently seeking applicants for Mission Command Information System / Computer Based Training (MCIS/CPT) Instructor positions at Joint Base San Antonio, TX. This position reports to and takes direction from the Training Support Section Lead. They will be responsible for the effective delivery of instruction by means of computer and warfighting function MCIS IAW Army instruction and education methods.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Training Soldiers, leaders, and staff on the sustainment warfighting function and medical operations.
    • Assisting in planning and preparation of mission command training and exercises in support of sustainment and medical training readiness of Soldiers and units.
    • Operating supported unit Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) and conducting over the shoulder training with supported unit MCIS operators (focus on sustainment and medical MCIS).
    • Serve as training SME to other mission command trainer integrators within the JBSA MTC.
    • Contributes to the effective use of graphics, windowing, animation, feedback, and branching.
    • Plans, designs, and coordinates training at all echelons, including individual through brigade, to include Corps and Joint.
    • Uses hardware and software to input data efficiently and to ensure unit training objectives are met. 
    • Supports training event EXCON/HICON/response cell operations and AARs. 
    • Conducts leader/staff individual and collective CP, exercise, and institutional training IAW current doctrine and DATE/OE.

       

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Graduate of SLC or higher
    • Completed formal MCIS course of study
    • 2+ years of MCIS teaching experience
    • SME in sustainment and medical MCIS, tools, and training simulations, specifically S2MC, MC4, AHLTA, JMeWS/MSAT, and SMDS
    • Experience in using Army medical MCIS and simulations to stimulate MCIS individual and collective training.
    • Experience in operations and training requirements of a Multifunctional Medical Battalion (MMB), preferably while deployed
    • Secret clearance
    • Minimum travel required

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Military service with experience in areas similar to those listed under required qualifications.
    • Overall familiarity with US Army training, operations, training aids, devices, simulators, and simulations (TADSS), and mission command information systems (MCIS)
    • Trained and qualified in multiple MCIS
    • Knowledge of Staff and NCO led processes in Combined Arms Training Strategies (CATS) execution
