    The ideal start date for this position is July 1st with some flexibility based on the availability of the candidate hired.

    Overview:

    Due to growth, KWalk Kids Physical Therapy & Wellness is now hiring a Physical Therapist servicing central San Diego. Full-time is preferred, 40 hours per week are available. Part-time candidates with the ability to complete 15 patient visits per week will also be considered.

    The ideal candidate should be personable with good communication skills.

    New grad Physical Therapists will be supported and mentored. Training and mentorship are paid. Mentorship is provided by a board-certified pediatric clinical specialist in physical therapy.

    Caseload / Patient Population:

    The primary caseload for this position consists of children from birth to age 3, making up approximately 90% of patients seen, with the remaining 10% ranging from ages 3 to 18. (Currently, the oldest patient is 11 years old.)

    Clinicians will work with babies and children presenting with neurological conditions, developmental delays, Torticollis and neurodevelopmental diagnoses, including Cerebral Palsy and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

    Full-time PTs should expect to treat 27-30 patients per week.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    The compensation for this position is in the range of $60-$65 per clinical hour, depending on experience and qualifications

    Benefits include medical, dental, PTO, six paid holidays, 401k with employer match, continuing education/supply funds, a starting pediatric PT tool kit, mileage reimbursement, and a technology stipend. Paid field trips and playgroups are also provided.

    Work Schedule:

    The schedule is Monday-Friday with flexible scheduling. Saturday hours are available but not required. No major holidays!

    Job Requirements:

    • Eligible for CA state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

    • Pediatric experience is preferred, but not required.

    • New grad PTs will be supported and mentored.

    • Full-time is preferred, 40 hours per week are available.

    • 5 working days per week are required for full-time. Half-day Fridays or another day off are available.

    • Part-time candidates with the ability to complete 15 patient visits per week will also be considered.
