    We currently have an opening for a part-time Massage Therapist to join our team at our Stockton clinic. The Massage Therapist will perform physical evaluations of assigned patients and apply a range of appropriate therapeutic treatments, to include manual massage therapy. New grads are encouraged to apply!

    Position Summary:

    • Help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.
    • Applies appropriate physical evaluation techniques to determine posture, gait, range of motion, muscle strength and joint stability
    • Develops a wide range of treatment plans, as appropriate to clinical data, physician prescribed protocol, and/or subjects' medical history
    • Operates therapeutic devices, to include devices for the application of electrotherapy, ultrasound, heat, cold, iontophoresis, biofeedback, and compression
    • Designs and implements a variety of therapeutic exercises and conditioning programs to be performed in the clinic, the home, and/or the gym
    • Documents therapy in accordance with policies and procedures regarding medical records; implements and adheres to policies which ensure patient confidentiality
    • Attends orthopedic clinics, as appropriate.
    • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED and successful completion of Therapeutic Massage school
    • 1+ years of post-licensure experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified Certifications/Licensure Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
    • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis
