We currently have an opening for a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team at our San Jose - City Sports Club location. The PTA will work directly with patients to teach them different functional tasks and exercises intended to strengthen or stretch muscles, as well as alleviate pain.

About our San Jose – City Sports Club clinic:

Our San Jose – City Sports Club location clinic is our newest clinic located in a fitness center. This clinic had its grand opening in January 2023. This is a great opportunity to work with a close-knit team as we continue to expand our services. The clinic proudly offers comprehensive orthopedic care, including back rehabilitation, balance and fall prevention, lower extremity rehabilitation, manual hands-on therapy, motor vehicle injury rehabilitation, neck rehabilitation, pre- and post-operative care, sports medicine, and workers' compensation support. Our clinic director, Kunal Patel, completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, Texas. Kunal specializes in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation with advanced certifications as a Performance specialist (C-PS) and a Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS). His care philosophy focuses on spending quality time with patients, helping them recover, and empowering them to become the best version of themselves to live a pain-free life.

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy in an outpatient setting.
• Follow individualized care plans for each treatment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimize care.
• Grow relationships with staff and the community.
• Utilize state-of-the-art EMR for documentation and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and insurance-based regulations.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an approved school for Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing with the State.
