    JOB SUMMARY

    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain movement and manage pain following injuries, illnesses, or surgeries. This role involves direct patient care, documentation, and assisting in developing treatment plans.

    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications:

    • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
    • Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (as required).
    • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or required).
    • Experience in rehab or long-term care settings (preferred).
    • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:

    • Implement physical therapy treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.

    • Assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities.

    • Monitor patient progress and responses to treatment, reporting observations to the supervising therapist.

    • Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and home exercise programs.

    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulations and facility policies.

    • Set up and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.

    • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout treatment sessions.

    • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
