    Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

    We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our new outpatient clinic in Anchorage, opening in July!

    As part of a collaborative team, you’ll provide one-on-one care to adult and geriatric patients, specializing in sports, orthopedic, pelvic health, neurological, balance, and vestibular therapy.

    You’ll work independently, assist Physical Therapists with treatment plans, and provide 40-minute therapy sessions. Experience in pelvic floor therapy is a plus but not required. Enjoy a flexible schedule with no weekends, while helping patients achieve optimal outcomes.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Competitive salary: Up to $40 Per Hour Based on Experience
    • Flexible schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week, no weekends.
    • PTO: 4 weeks (accrued, not use-it-or-lose-it; carries over up to 300 hours).
    • Paid holidays: 6 paid holidays annually.
    • 401(K): 4% employer match after 1 year.
    • Health insurance: 85% premium covered for employee (family coverage available at a different rate), effective the first of the month after 30 days.
    • Vision & dental insurance: 85% premium covered for employee, available within 90 days.
    • Unlimited internal CEUs.
    • Up to $1,000 external CEU reimbursement annually.
    • 3 CEU days per year.
    • Productivity-based bonus system: Based on billable units.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist Physical Therapists in providing one-on-one therapy for a diverse patient population (primarily adults and geriatrics).
    • Implement treatment plans as directed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.
    • Educate patients on their rehabilitation process and assist them in performing prescribed exercises.
    • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation using our EMR system (WebPT).
    • Work independently while maintaining effective communication with the rest of the clinical team.
    • Manage and maintain your schedule, ensuring all patients receive timely, personalized care.
    • Ensure a positive and professional patient experience throughout their course of therapy.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Alaska.
    • New graduates are welcome to apply.
    • Interest or experience in pelvic floor therapy is preferred.
    • Ability to work independently while managing a caseload.
    • Strong communication skills and a passion for patient care.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
    • Comfortable using EMR systems (WebPT experience is a plus).
    • Strong desire to grow and develop within the field.
