    Empower Physical Therapy is growing and hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient orthopedics position in Anchorage, Alaska. This position includes a sign-on bonus or relocation assistance. Full-time is preferred, new graduates are welcome, and a path to management is available for interested candidates.

    About the Role

    You will treat patients of all ages in a dynamic outpatient orthopedic setting with a general orthopedic caseload. Vestibular and pelvic floor cases are also available. All care is one-on-one in 45-minute sessions, with full-time PTAs seeing approximately 44 patients per week. Clinicians have full autonomy over their schedule and patient flow, with no patient overlap unless the treating provider determines a patient needs additional time.

    Schedule

    The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm with no weekends and no holidays. Flexible scheduling is available, and clinicians have the autonomy to structure their schedule in the way that works best for them.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The salary range for a full-time position is $66,000 to $75,000 per year, with increases based on experience and qualifications. The benefits package includes employer-sponsored medical insurance, HSA and FSA options, dental and vision insurance, a retirement program with 3% employer match, short-term disability, long-term disability paid by the employer, employer-paid life insurance, supplemental life insurance, 15 days of PTO increasing up to 25 days, 6 paid holidays, a $3,000 continuing education allowance, unlimited online coursework, and a $10,000 mentorship program.

    Qualifications

    Candidates must be eligible for Alaska state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Prior outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred. New graduate PTAs are welcome and will receive full support and mentorship. Full-time availability of 40 hours per week is preferred. Part-time candidates with a minimum of 16 hours and two weekdays of availability will also be considered.
