Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Pocahontas, IA, working in a mix of hospital based inpatient and outpatient settings. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates as well as experienced PTAs looking to make a difference in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Treatment Implementation: Carry out treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist (PT).
• Progress Documentation: Accurately document patient progress and treatments in a timely manner.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Department Support: Assist in maintaining the daily operations of the therapy department, including equipment and supplies.
• Care Program Participation: Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care programs.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Iowa.
• New Graduates: We welcome applications from new graduates!
• Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
