    We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Physical Achievement Center

    We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant who is an excellent communicator and listener, confident, loves laughing with their patients, and is committed to growth and learning!

    Outcome: To grow the Scope of the clinic by retaining patients that we serve (or are going to serve as a result of our marketing). You will do this by creating deep and meaningful relationships with our patients and provide world-class level of customer and clinical care that ensures patients get the health outcomes they need.

    Tasks:

    · Communicate with patients in a way that they can confidently make decisions about the plan of care recommended.

    · Ensure the patient’s achieve their clinical and health/lifestyle outcome within the time frame suggested.

    · Develop a mutually beneficial relationship that benefits both the patient and the clinic

    · Ensure that patients remain engaged and excited about he prospect of coming to Physical Therapy and remain committed to the treatment plan.

    · Provide a high level of customer care that will cause patients to want to come back frequently and tell their friends and family about us as well.

    · Ensure that the patients complete a full plan of care as agreed upon in the first session.

    · Ensure clinical notes are kept up to date and accurate within time frames.

    · Participate in, contribute to and help develop in house education that is provided to Therapist and Staff.

    · Be willing to utilize approaches to reach out the general public within the established framework in order to assist individuals to consider becoming a customer of the clinic. This may include leading workshops, visiting professional referral sources, community events, and multi-media tools such as Facebook, and Instragram.

    Skills/ Competencies Needed To Be Successful In This Position:

    · Builds trust: Connects with patients quickly and is motivated to have real relationships with patients beyond a clinical outcome

    · Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrate an understanding of what the causes are- and solutions- that could lead to a patient dropping off schedule, and to enable the patient to complete their plan of care and achievement of their goals.

    · Excellent Communicator: Be able to communicate with the patient in such a way that they can understand why the suggested plan of care is the best solution to their problem. Be able to help patients understand the value of your plan of care to achieve their stated goals in exchange for their time and money.

    · Humble Life-Long Learner: Demonstrates a teachable spirit and willing to strive for ongoing improvement in skills and competencies. If your Goals include specialty skills-Instrumented soft tissue mobilization, joint stretching/mobilization, exercise & fitness training this is the right opportunity for you.

    · PT License: Has an active physical therapy license in the state of Wisconsin.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour

    Qualifications

    Proven working experience as a physical therapist assistant

    Excellent knowledge of physiology best practices and standards

    Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities

    Ability to communicate and instruct effectively

    Healthcare administration and documentation skills

    License to practice or relevant certification

    Associate degree as a PTA

    Physical Therapy Assistant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

    CPR Certification (Preferred)

    Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Preferred)
