    A well-established senior living community in Shelbyville, Kentucky is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its in-house therapy team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant who is passionate about helping seniors regain mobility, build confidence, and maintain their independence while making a meaningful difference in residents' lives every day.

    Position Responsibilities

    Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist

    Assist residents in improving strength, balance, mobility, endurance, and functional independence

    Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist

    Accurately document treatments and resident responses

    Encourage and motivate residents throughout their rehabilitation journey

    Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members

    Promote safe, compassionate, and resident-centered care

    Qualifications

    Active Kentucky Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Positive, team-oriented attitude

    Passion for serving the senior population

    Long-term care or senior living experience preferred, but not required
