About the Role:
Join Joint & Spine as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Waldwick, NJ, where you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. We are seeking a PTA who thrives in a structured, fast-paced clinical environment and enjoys working as part of an integrated care team. You will work directly under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver hands-on care and guide patients through rehabilitation programs designed to improve mobility, strength, and overall function. This role is ideal for someone who is engaging, dependable, and motivated to grow within a multidisciplinary practice.
Responsibilities:
Deliver therapeutic exercise programs and functional rehabilitation activities
Perform manual therapy techniques including soft tissue and mobility work
Guide patients through structured rehab protocols and care plans
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
Document all treatments accurately and in a timely manner
Collaborate with chiropractors and medical providers to ensure coordinated care
Educate patients on home exercises and lifestyle strategies to support recovery
Requirements:
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active PTA license in New Jersey 1+ year of clinical experience preferred (but not required for the right candidate)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
High energy, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
Ability to follow structured systems and protocols
