Hi, I’m Jordan Black, PT, DPT, owner of Tristar Physical Therapy. I want to share a quick piece of our backstory.
Like you, I’ve always been passionate about helping people move better and live without pain. But years ago, after dealing with my own injuries, I experienced “rehab” that felt impersonal—like I was just another number. There wasn’t strong accountability, and it didn’t feel like the care was truly results-driven. Looking back, I believe many clinicians were simply stretched too thin to deliver the level of care they wanted to provide.
That experience stuck with me—and it pushed me to build something different.
I started Tristar with one goal: deliver real rehab with real people, built on individualized care, education, and best-in-class outcomes. Since opening, we’ve grown quickly across East Tennessee, built an incredible team, and we consistently hear from patients that we are “their solution.”
Now, we’re hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team.
We’ve helped tens of thousands of local residents, but we’ll never value volume more than patient satisfaction and staff retention. We’re looking for someone who is passionate, outgoing, and committed to excellent clinical care in an outpatient orthopedic setting. New grads are welcome to apply.
