About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Velocity Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant! In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping patients recover and regain their mobility while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.

Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.

Educate patients on exercises and rehabilitation techniques.

Maintain patient records and document treatment sessions accurately.

Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions.

Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments.

Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans.

Stay updated on industry best practices and continuing education opportunities.

Requirements:

Current Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license required.

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Experience in outpatient rehabilitation preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
