Position Overview:

Advocate Heath Care of East Boston is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team on a 12-week contract basis to turn into a full-time role. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help improve their physical mobility and overall well-being. You will assess each patient's needs and develop personalized treatment plans to help them regain strength, flexibility, and function.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical condition and medical history
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals
• Provide hands-on therapy, exercises, and stretches to improve mobility and function
• Educate patients and their families on proper exercises and techniques they can do at home to improve their condition
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatment and progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist preferred
