    Location: Barnwell, South Carolina
    Assignment Dates: December 15, 2025 – March 15, 2026
    Pay Rate: $50–$55 per hour

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our care team in Barnwell, SC. In this role, you will evaluate, treat, and support patients working to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve functional independence. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, patient-focused, and experienced in delivering evidence-based rehabilitation across a variety of conditions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to identify functional limitations and rehabilitation needs

    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on mobility restoration, strength, balance, and pain management

    • Provide therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, and functional mobility exercises

    • Treat patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, post-surgical procedures, and chronic illnesses

    • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to ensure optimal functional outcomes

    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Nursing, and Care Management

    • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, adaptive techniques, and long-term wellness strategies

    • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in EMR systems in compliance with regulatory and facility standards

    • Apply sound clinical judgment supported by anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation science

    Qualifications

    • Active South Carolina Physical Therapist License

    • Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation experience (inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, or post-acute preferred)

    • Strong knowledge of functional mobility, gait mechanics, and neuromuscular retraining

    • Experience treating orthopedic, post-surgical, geriatric, and neurological patient populations

    • Proficiency with EMR documentation

    • Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and patient education skills
