Physical Therapist
The Position: Our Client is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist in Ft. Pierce, FL. The Physical Therapist (PT) provides high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of therapeutic care of an assigned group of patients in coordination with the physician and the patient care team. Our Client is offering the following compensation and benefits:
- $36 to $53.20 per hour depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:
- Available Shifts: Days (Rotating Weekends)
- Settings: Acute care hospital OR Physical Rehabilitation Center (Primary Stroke Center)
- Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics.
- Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in the development of the total plan of care.
- Provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic care at patient’s home, using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physician’s plan of care.
- Instruct patient/family/caregiver in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and/or prosthetic devices to be used outside of therapy sessions.
- You will prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs and coordinate assignments/handoffs.
Job Requirements:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, in good standing
- 1 year of experience (acute care or rehabilitation clinic settings)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
