Compensation: $40.82 – $51.03 per hour

Housing: 3 months provided housing for relocating candidates.
Position Summary
The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing physical therapy services based on physician referrals and established clinical standards. This role ensures safe, effective patient care while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and mobility.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patient functional abilities and determine therapy needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as needed.
Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress according to regulatory standards.
Communicate patient progress with physicians, nurses, patients, and families.
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy plans and recovery.
Supervise PTAs, therapy technicians, and students as required.
Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
Current or eligible Arizona Physical Therapist license.
BLS certification required.
Demonstrated clinical competency and patient care experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
1+ year of hospital or acute care experience.
Additional Requirements
Must be willing to relocate to Yuma, AZ.
Candidates living 100+ miles from Onvida Health preferred (for relocation/housing eligibility).
