Are you frustrated by the corporate clinic grind? Do you feel like you’re just another cog in the machine, expected to hit numbers instead of making a real impact on your patients? Platinum Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine is NOT your typical clinic. We’re a physical therapist-owned practice where quality care comes before productivity quotas. We believe that happy, well-supported therapists create the best outcomes for patients. If you’re looking to get back to the core of why you became a PT—working 1:1 with patients, using your skills, and collaborating with a team who values your input—this is the place for you.
Our Ashland location is the start of it all 20 years ago. Located conveniently on Route 135 by the commuter rail station, our Ashland location began as a one man operation opened by James Casady when he wanted to create a physical therapy setting without constant reminders of productivity and juggling double or triple bookings. Now, this location has grown into a multidisciplinary physical therapy clinic offering treatments for orthopedic, neurologic, pelvic floor, and lymphedema diagnoses. Upon entry to our clinic, our kind receptionist greets all patients and staff warmly prior to entry into the large gym space with 4 private treatment rooms. We prioritize our team's wellbeing over all else, so we offer flexible weekday schedules without double bookings, generous continuing education reimbursement, monthly staff meetings for case and research reviews, close relationships with company leadership, and an emphasis on maintaining a locally owned small business culture in all of our locations.
Why Platinum Physical Therapy Is Different:
Real Autonomy: Manage your own schedule with 1-on-1, 40-minute patient slots. No double-booking ever.
Work-Life Harmony: We understand you have a life outside of the clinic. Enjoy flexible PTO with no pressure to make up missed hours on weekends or evenings.
Mentorship That Actually Helps: We believe in building a strong foundation for success. As a new hire, you’ll be paired with a structured mentoring program designed to give you hands-on support, ongoing guidance, and the time you need to grow as a clinician—whether you’re a new grad or an experienced therapist.
Cohesive Team Culture: You’re not just a number here. We are a community of therapists who support each other. Monthly team meetings foster collaboration and learning, where we share clinical knowledge, celebrate wins, and work through challenges together. Everyone’s voice is heard.
Opportunity to Specialize: Whether you’re passionate about treating athletes, runners, pelvic health, or neuro rehab, we’ll support your personal clinical interests and help you grow in your niche.
Well-Equipped Clinic: From private treatment rooms to dry needling supplies and Rogue strength equipment, we have the tools and space to treat a wide variety of patients and conditions.
Tech That Works For You: We use TherapySource, a cloud-based EMR, to make documentation faster, so you have more time for what matters—your patients and your personal life.
What You’ll Be Doing:
One-on-One Care: Each patient gets 40 minutes of your undivided attention. No double-booking, ever.
Patient Care & Treatment Plans: Manage your own caseload with a balance of evaluation and ongoing treatment.
Collaborate & Learn: Participate in our structured mentoring program and monthly team meetings to continue your professional development.
Community Engagement: Be part of our active, community-focused clinic. We host 1-2 marketing events per year to connect with the local population.
What We’re Looking For:
A passionate PT who wants to deliver high-quality care without the pressure of productivity targets
An active Massachusetts PT license (or eligibility to obtain one)
New grads are welcome! We’ll provide mentorship and guidance to help you grow as a clinician
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a desire to contribute to a supportive, collaborative team culture
