What You'll Do:
- Assess and evaluate patients' physical abilities and needs through comprehensive examinations.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that align with patients' goals and address their specific conditions.
- Administer therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, injury prevention, and overall health and wellness.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide integrated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on current practices, techniques, and industry trends through continuous education and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule based on patient needs.
- Experience in geriatrics is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification
