About the Role:
We’re seeking a compassionate, energetic, and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our pediatric therapy team! You’ll work with children from birth to 18 years in a variety of settings including homes, schools, clinics, and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide 1:1 and group speech-language therapy sessions
· Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
· Maintain timely documentation (daily notes, progress reports, discharge summaries)
· Communicate regularly with families and provide home practice activities
· Monitor progress and adjust goals as needed
· Collaborate with SLAs, OTs, PTs, and other team members
· Attend team meetings and supervision sessions
· Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging therapy environment
Supporting Functions:
· Demonstrate preparation and skill in working with families and staff from diverse backgrounds.
· Encourage patient and community involvement.
· Promote positivity among coworkers.
· Participate in professional training and extracurricular activities.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· Achieve and maintain high productivity levels within the schedule and billable hours assigned.
· Maintain flexibility and adaptability to reschedule missed sessions and promote productivity.
· Maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic.
· Adhere to dress code and other facility requirements.
· Report to work regularly and punctually.
· Collaborate effectively with all LPS staff members and families.
· Adhere to LPS policies, norms, and procedures.
Qualifications:
· Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
· Current SC PT license (or license eligible)
· Pediatric experience preferred
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus!
