  • Responsibilities

    Outpatient Physical Therapist — San Diego, CA

    $90K–$125K + $2K sign-on bonus • Full-time or part-time • Onsite

    Treat patients, not paperwork.

    Most outpatient PTs see 3–4 patients an hour, rush notes at night, and feel like production targets matter more than people.
    This isn't that job.

    Here, you'll see about 1.8 patients/hour. You'll start each plan of care, then hand off to a skilled PTA , so your focus stays on outcomes—not volume.
    Charting happens on the clock , with AI documentation tools coming soon.

    What You'll Do

    • Lead evaluations and individualized treatment plans

    • Collaborate with PTAs to carry care through

    • Track outcomes and adjust plans as needed

    • Join weekly clinical trainings (inside + outside experts)

    • Mentor or be mentored—your call

    • Leave on time, no after-hours charting

    Must-Haves

    • Active CA PT license (or pending)

    • Strength in ortho or post-surgical rehab

    • Comfort directing PTA support

    • Clear, reliable communication with patients and peers
